2012 Joint HAMMOC and SHBB Rally Results

On arrival at 09:30 there are only a handful of cars on the field but the committee have done a sterling job to get the signs out and the gazebos erected. There is the tombola set up, a very encouraging cake stall (thanks Allison) and the HAMMOC raffle. All that is needed now is more cars and visitors, and they came.

After a wet start to the day by the time the rally entries started to arrive the weather steadily improved and as the sun came out so did the cars so that by mid day there were 24 very nice Morris Minors to be viewed including 3 from the Dorset club (thank you for your support it was nice to meet you).

Cars ranged from a very nice MM to a hotrod (1300 engine 5 speed box and all the trimmings) thanks Dorset.

The house and gardens were in good order as always with the recent weather the gardeners have achieved a lot. Another high point was the cream teas at the café.

As the weather continued to improve so did the number of visitors all of whom showed great interest in the cars and the stalls and a very good day was had by all.
